Professional Development & Leadership in Cancer Care – Birmingham City University

This module is aimed at graduate healthcare practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in Professional Development and Clinical Leadership in Cancer Care.

It’s vital that anyone working with cancer patients is supported with the appropriate education and reflective practice, to develop and drive high quality of care. This module will develop your core leadership skills and behaviours to care for people affected by cancer, and provide underpinning cancer knowledge for the workforce.

The module can be studied at Level 6 or 7 depending on your previous qualifications, and as a standalone module or as part
of our Professional Practice framework.

Delivery of the module is online, incorporating a variety of learning activities, such as online lectures, forums, quizzes, and workshops.

You are expected to participate and engage with the module material through our virtual learning platform. You will be assessed via in-person presentation. Tutorial support will be offered via video tutorials, chat forums, email and telephone.
