Peninsula Cancer Academy

The Peninsula Cancer Academy launched in October 2024 and provides a central hub for education and development opportunities for the Cancer workforce across Devon and Cornwall.

The Academy's core aim revolves around the standardisation and sharing of training, education, and career progression routes for non-medical professionals working across various healthcare settings in order to deliver the highest quality cancer training and education, always with the patient at the heart of everything we deliver.

Its principal purpose is to meet the needs of the cancer workforce by underpinning the principles of the of the NHS People Plan and the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, particularly concerning cancer care.

We have specific educational content for each cancer sub-specialty, tailoring programs to address the unique requirements of the cancer workforce.
