Mission Statement
The South West Imaging Training Academy (SWITA) will provide a multi-professional environment where training and education of the future workforce is the primary focus, maximising the expertise of experienced educators and supervisors across the region.
Vision
• To provide multi-professional training across a team
• To provide flexible and high-quality training environments for Imaging staff
• To make best use of the available teaching faculty
• This will enable immersive training in priority areas to support the rapid development of skills to support learning trajectory
• Which in turn will lead to an increase in training capacity across the region
• Ultimately, this will increase the number of learners and increase the numbers of Imaging staff able to enter the workforce

Commitment
SWITA will collaborate with partners to plan, recruit, educate and train the SW Imaging workforce, enhance existing training and education, and ensure the resilience of the future workforce.
